Cleopatra Luxury Makadi Beach Resort (Adults only) is a spacious and comfortable resort complex, situated between Hurghada and Safaga Port. Guests can enjoy free WiFi in public areas.

What was the highlight of Cleopatra Luxury Beach Resort Makadi Bay
A Luxury Resort indeed by very Pricey
We stayed at the Adults Only section. The resort is spacious with all facilities: 3 restaurants, bars, gym, shisha lounge, disco and others. The staff especially the animation team are super friendly and fun. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view. There is lots of greenery around. Most importantly, the food was pretty good and diverse.
The resort is not in Hurghuda - it is in Makadi Bay (10km far from center). There is nothing around the resort, but we did not mind because we spent all our time in the resort. There was no need to leave the resort in the 1st place. The water at the beach was very shallow - don't expect to swim by the shore. There is coral reef but it is not beautiful - dry and grey. The price of the resort is very high compared to others in the area. Most of the people attending are 50+ years old, so don't expect to meet young people :)

„Hausriff , moderne Zimmer, Essen vielseitig, sehr freundlich, ROTE FLAGGE notwendig
Betten waren sehr groß und bequem ! Hatten 1 Doppelbett, welches eigentlich aus 2 Queensize bestand. Im Adults only, wird am Abend auch live gekocht, nicht nur Kantinen Feeling wie im Main Restaurant. Alkoholische Getränke waren im All Inklusive integriert ! Lecker und auch mit ordentlich was drinnen ;-) Besonders wenn man etwas Trinkgeld gibt (1-2€) Konditor, Backstube sehr exquisit, haben zum Hochzeitstag eine kleine Schokotorte geschenkt aufs Zimmer bekommen, die war traumhaft. Haben wir um 14€ nochmals bestellt und ein Koloss erhalten, hätte bei uns sicher das 10fache gekostet. Pharmacy/Apotheke gleich ums Eck und leider auch notwendig. Personal war sehr freundlich und engagiert ! Wenn man alte Kleidung, ect loswerden will, freut sich der Zimmerservice sehr darüber :-) Frühstückspaket für Ausflüge verfügbar ! Hausriff sehr vielseitig und schön ! 25€ private Limousine zur Senzo Mall - 2 Personen beide Strecken 45€ privates Airport Shuttle - 2 Personen beide Strecken
Premium Zimmer mit Meerblick - MEER war leider sehr weit weg, rückwirkend betrachtet wäre es uns den Aufpreis nicht mehr wert gewesen. Fotos von Booking sind da leider etwas irreführend. Wer wirklich nahen Meerblick will, muss Front Row buchen ! RED FLAG ! Rote Flagge unbedingt beim Pool ! Wird bei der Handtuchvergabe ausgeteilt. Hat man uns leider nicht gleich bei der Ankunft mitgeteilt und wir wurden in einer Stunde 4 mal, wegen Touren, Massagen, ect. angequatscht. Sehr mühsam! Mit der Flagge lassen sie einen zumindest beim Liegen in Ruhe, sonst quatschen sie einen auch im Pool an. Sehr lästig, es handelt sich aber nur um Hotel Personal ! Minibar wird nur 1x pro Aufenthalt aufgefüllt und ist sehr spatarisch. Um Schwimmen zu können muss man sicher 5 Minuten den langen Steg entlang, bis zum Hausriff, da das wasser sonst nur Knietief ist. SPA ist verfügbar, wird aber extern betreut und die Angestellten waren sehr ungut und lästig, sei gut überlegt hier wirklich einzutreten. Wäre schön wenn das Hotel sich um die Streuer etwas bemühen würde, zumindest Wasserstellen für Hund und Katz aufstellen und Essensreste abgeben, die Tiere sind leider sehr verhungert.

Memorable stay
1. Staying at the beachfront resort (adults only) gave us an advantage to use other facilities of the main resort as well. So you get to enjoy the advantage of staying in a no kids area while still being able to enjoy the rest of the resort whenever needed. 2. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Elsayed from the main reception, who ensured our stay is memorable by his efforts to meet our special requests as possible. 3. Food was really good (Especially at the main resort's dinning hall). It was varied, available and even if we didn't like some items, we were able to find more items that we could enjoy. Drinks were also nice, especially at the main bar and at the sky lounge bar. 4. The heated pool was a good idea, especially on the first two days of our stay when we couldn't bear the wind on the beach. 5. We enjoyed our half day snorkeling trip that we arranged through the diving center inside the resort. Which allowed us to enjoy unforgettable scenes, crystal clear waters, coral reefs and the perfect weather. 6. The billiard tables, table tennis tables, darts and other entertaining games at main resort's bar.
1. Room's furniture is a bit old, especially the mattress, which we expected better ones/new ones in a 5 star resort. Also the TV screen is really old and we couldn't properly enjoy it. 2. The sea area/beach facing the resort is not of a gradual depth. But rather it is shallow waters for a really long distance, and then suddenly it is not shallow. This is why if you want to swim you will need to walk the water bridge and then you get to enjoy the sea. 3. A big part of the sea area infront of the resort is allocated for parasailing.
