What was the highlight of Cleopatra Luxury Beach Resort Makadi Bay
A Luxury Resort indeed by very Pricey
We stayed at the Adults Only section. The resort is spacious with all facilities: 3 restaurants, bars, gym, shisha lounge, disco and others. The staff especially the animation team are super friendly and fun. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view. There is lots of greenery around. Most importantly, the food was pretty good and diverse.
The resort is not in Hurghuda - it is in Makadi Bay (10km far from center). There is nothing around the resort, but we did not mind because we spent all our time in the resort. There was no need to leave the resort in the 1st place. The water at the beach was very shallow - don't expect to swim by the shore. There is coral reef but it is not beautiful - dry and grey. The price of the resort is very high compared to others in the area. Most of the people attending are 50+ years old, so don't expect to meet young people :)

«Soggiorno Cleopatra Beach»
Struttura pulita e ordinata, esteticamente bella e accogliente. Posizione strategica. Cibo accettabile. Sport acquatici ben attrezzati, personale molto professionale e cortese. Campi da tennis ben tenuti e palestra ragionevolmente accettabile.
Il cibo non era dei migliori, poca varietà. Avevamo scelto la forma "all inclusive" e alla fine di all inclusive c'era ben poco (succhi di frutta da pagare a parte, così come altre bevande). Sport acquatici e campi da tennis molto ben curati, peccato che anch'essi erano fuori dalla formula "all inclusive". Il personale non parla inglese, neppure il personale di sala e ciò rende la comunicazione per basici bisogni alquanto difficile (non siamo riusciti mai a prenotare un taxi tramite la reception).

«Ottimo resort»
La struttura è molto nuova e ben tenuta. La stanza molto grande e bella, tutto molto curato. Tutti i giorni stanza rifatta e acqua a disposizione. La zona adults only è molto bella, calma e silenziosa, si può usufruire di ristorante più piccolo e riservato dove ci sono camerieri molto gentili e poco invadenti. C'è anche piscina riscaldata riservata. Quando si vuole però si può usufruire di tutti i servizi della struttura principale. Cibo ottimo per essere un resort. Animazione non invadente, presenza di biliardo, ping pong, freccette nel bar... e di campi da beach tennis, beachvolley ecc... La spiaggia è carina con accesso in acqua bassa e poi molo per andare più a largo. C'è la possibilità di andare anche sul molo dell'hotel accanto. Possibilità di fare varie escursioni.
La struttura ha un molo da cui fare il bagno dove c'è la barriera corallina. Ci sono tanti pesciolini ma la barriera corallina sta morendo infatti i colori sono spenti ed è un peccato. Dall'hotel accanto c'è la barriera un po' più viva ma comunque poco colorata. A marzo l'acqua è parecchio fredda. L'animazione è migliorabile.

«Super vacanza, che non dimenticheremo!»
Tutto perfetto. Camera grande, pulita, vista mare. Personale sempre gentile. Personale del ristorante adults only SUPER. I responsabili mi hanno sempre seguita dato che ho un'allergia al cumino e a volte, preparato anche piatti a parte apposta, deliziosi. Tantissima scelta (ricordandosi che non siamo in Italia). Sempre trovato posto in spiaggia senza problemi. Piscina grande anche se non l'abbiamo mai usata. Mare trasparente e barriera corallina SUPERLATIVA. Abbiamo anche fatto il corso di immersione nel centro a fianco della spiaggia dell'hotel e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Sicuramente da consigliare, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Praticamente nessun italiano, quasi tutti tedeschi quindi tutti molto educati.
